THEY BELIEVE IN DESIGN AS A WAY TO DREAM TOWARDS UTOPIA, A WAY TO TANGIBLY MANIFEST WORLDS MORE PERFECT, MORE KIND AND MORE QUEER, EVEN IF THEY ARE FLAWED, FIGURATIVE OR FICTITIOUS. LUCAS WORKS IN DESIGN FOR FILM, THEATER, AND PHOTO, AND ALSO AS A FREELANCE THEATER DIRECTOR
IN THEATER, HE'S WORKED WITH COMPANIES/SPACES SUCH AS ARS NOVA, NATIONAL BLACK THEATRE, SMITH STREET STAGE, THE BRICK, ACCESS THEATER, AND NYU TISCH. 
IN FILM, HE'S WORKED ON FEATURES FOR HULU, MIRAMAX, AND SHUDDER, AND WITH PRODUCERS SUCH AS LIZZIE SHAPIRO, LEXI TANNENHOLTZ, LIL REL HOWERY, AND GRANT CURATOLA.  
HE IS THE FOUNDER OF FRANK STUDIO, AN INDEPENDENT DESIGN STUDIO AND PROP HOUSE OPERATING OUT OF SOUTH SLOPE, BROOKLYN.
